The shops in Wageningen are open on:
Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 18.00h,
and extended hours on Friday from 9.00 tot 21.00h.
Most shops are closed on Monday morning until 13:00h.

In Wageningen there is a street market and a market for flowers, fruits and vegetables, where you can also buy biological products.
Streetmarket
Wednesday from 8.30 to 13.00 h
on 'de Markt', the square around the 'Grote Kerk' (big church) and on the 'Raadhuisplein'.

To rent a market stall
Would you like to rent a (permanent) stall on the market? Then you need to send an application to the mayor and councillors of Wageningen (Postbus 1, 6700 AA Wageningen).
Your application can only be handled when you are registered with the chamber of commerce (Kamer van Koophandel) and you need a pass which states that you are a merchant.
Stand for non-commercial activities
You can also request a stand for non-commercial activities on the market on Saturday. You need a stand permit. You can apply for this permit via the 'digitale balie' on the homepage in Dutch or a written application addressed to the department of Spatial Planning, section permit grants (Postbus 1, 6700 AA Wageningen).
